Depending on the area you are looking in prices are variable. After looking at several pieces of property, price is going to vary due to location, subdivision, farm land, waterfront, etc. For at least a 1 acre tract and up prices started out at $3600 and went up from there in the area of 42211.
I had a client who was looking for land in No. Georgia - the price ranged from 4k per acre to 100k per acre depending on the zoning and/or location. You are in Kentucky - so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding open land.
Contact a local agent - someone who speciallizes in land sales - it's a bit trickier than developed residential homes.
And take Patricks advice to heart - BE CAREFUL!
Jo I looked up three 1 acre to 1.5 acre lots in 42320
out of the three listing agent only one had a phone number.
None of the property`s had a offered price. ZERO
I think you live in a one horse town, or at least a one realtor town. I don't think they use buyers agents.
You will have to call a local Realtor.
Be careful, Good luck
