How many showings should a house in the $300's see a month?

if it's worth $400K then you should see plenty. If it's over priced you will see none. If it looks like bad.. even less. Hank is right. Your question is way too broad. There are many more factors than your price range that effect the amount of showings. Your agent should be able to help you with that. If you don't have an agent, you should seek out the advise of a professional and qualified agent and hire him/her. In this market, without proper exposure and professional advise on pricing and condition it's going to be a long time coming before you ever see an offer.

Elizabeth, there is no definitive number--it all depends on your property and how your agent is marketing to other agents and buyers. If your property is priced correctly and is in good showing condition, then you may investigate whether or not you have enough exposure via internet and other methods.

I've had showings really picking up on my listings in your price range, so I'd check up on how you're reaching both agents and potential buyers, as well as critically evaluate your home price and condition compared to the competition. You've got to be priced right and show well to get the buyers-- Good luck!
