We generally recommend that prospective buyers speak with the mortgage specialist at the bank or credit union where they have their checking account. Better to know now, right?

Good luck to you!

If you have a desire to know, consult now and know your standing. Shoulda woulda couldas are so unnecessary when they can be avoided and usually during this time of question, no answers still. Let me know, I have a great person who gives direct information without the run around .

Good Evening Shantel,

The best person to answer this question is a lender. With lending guidelines always changing, a loan officer will be able to tell you how long you will have to wait after an economic hardship on a student loan. Please feel free to contact me if you need some referrals for lenders. I'll be more than happy to email you their contact information. I hope to hear from you soon!

Make it a Blessed Day!
