How long do you have to wait after a bankruptcy for a bank to consider a home loan. My credit actually shows

two bankruptcies. The first one we were trying to save our house, but that ended up not going through because we could not make the regular payments plus the payments to the trustee, so it was canceled, but it is still on credit report. the second one I did individually after I got divorced because I could not repay all the debt. Been about a year since the last one.

FIRST ANSWER

After discharge of a bnkruptcy you will need to wait 2 years before you can purchase again.
