How long can we expect our house to be listed before sale?

That depends on how well you prepare the house for showings, and how aggressively you price it. If you make your home the best in the neighborhood for the lowest price it will sell quickly. If you are just average for an average price it could take awhile. I'd suggest consulting a local real estate agent to get advice on your particular property.

This depends if you will be listing the home at an above market price "fishing" for a good buyer. In this market home priced at the market price in good repair have offers within 3 months.

Fishing prices may never sell.

Homes in repair can sell also if priced below market for similar homes that are in good repair.

The general condition of the neigborhood will also be a factor.

Your Realtor can advise you on this after they have visited your home.
