LM, T-E and Radnor suppose be the top 3. I live in Wallingford, the house is much affordable than the above 3. A lots of people believe we are just after the big 3.
Selecting a school is a lot like buying a car. People individualize their needs and select the unit that will best serve them. brand, color, ride, gas mileage, safety, are possible considerations.
We could take a lesson from car buyers when selecting a school and identify the criteria we are both looking for and trying to avoid. A "how is...............very broad general question based on the personal opinion of others, may not get the job done for you.
Our advice is to rely on your personal criteria and concrete information you can personaly collect that supports you.
Remember....what is a great car for one individual may not be so great for another person....
Good luck with your search
Both Swarthmore and Lower Merion are fantastic school districts. My advice to you would be to compare the districts using the following websites:
Philly.com Report Card on the Schools of Pennsylvania:
http://www.philly.com/inquirer/education/school_report_card/
SchoolMatters.com allows you to research individual schools:
http://www.schoolmatters.com/
Please feel free to e-mail me with any additional questions. I attended Swarthmore College a few years ago and lived in Lower Merion for a year. Otherwise, best of luck!
NUMBER 2, BEHIND LW, EXCELLENT
