Do to certain laws, Realtors are restricted from commenting on a specific school district. I would search in the local Newspapers as well as contacting both school districts to obtain the information you are looking for.

Good afternoon mt,

Due to Fair Housing Laws, real estate professionals cannot discuss schools or school districts with you. I always recommend http://www.city-data.com as the best resource on the internet for aggregated data on all areas including schools, crime, demographics, even weather for any given town or city.

I'm not a realtor. Therefore, opt for HHH. South Huntington is not considered to come close.

I always use this website to compare the schools in my interest's areas.
Good luck.

Unfortunately, we as Realtors cannot answer the question. You may want to check, Newsday.com under Real Estate, under neighborhoods or MLSLI.com under schools, or by calling the districts directly.

This is truly the age of information....you can check the New York State Department of Education's website and access the school "Report Card" that will provide you with all of the information necessary to arrive at your own conclusion.

Everything from scores on NYS tests, discipline, special education, staff qualifications, student demographics, schools in need of improvement etc. will be available to you.

Realtors are not permitted by law to discuss school districts or neighborhoods. We can, however, be the source of the source.

If you would like to make a school comparison, I can direct you to my website, http://www.GailGladstone.com, where you can click on "school info" and format the comparisons you desire.

If you would like any additional assistance in purchasing a home or locating available properties, I would be happy to provide you with a FREE account on ListingBook.com, which allows you to control your home search on almost any criteria you need.

Just send me an email at Gail@GailGladstone.com with your email address and I will set it up for you. If you have any further questions on this or other issues on Long Island, email or call me at 631-425-6150.
