How is the Colts Run Development in Marlton, NJ?

Asked by Ft.homebuyer, Marlton, NJ Mon Apr 27, 2009

I am looking to purchase a single family home in the Marlton area. I have been seeing lots of properties go on for sale in past couple of years. It is an only 8 to 9 years old development. Currently there are 11 properties for sale. I have heard that there were some issues with the foundation. Does anyone know anything more? How about the Home owner's Assocation there?

Some houses in the Colts Run development are part of a class action lawsuit against the builder related to mold.

Colts Run is a lovely community in Marlton. I have heard from one of my buyers that there was a neighbor expressing concern about the foundation and quality of construction. In my experience, many homes have sold there and the quality as well as the amenties are very good for the price, location and style or models offered. Great neighorhood and desirable from every account I have encountered with various buyers!

Every community has it's pros and cons and I would recommend viewing homes in the community you are interested in as well as other surrounding communities for a comparison. I would also recommend getting a home inspection once you have found a home that you want to purchase. If there are any foundation issues, you have the right to cancel the contracts and get your deposit back. If I can assist in your home search, please let me know.
