If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

Trulia has a bunch of census information so you can review crime statistics, etc. That might be a good start. I also always suggest to our buyer clients who are unsure to spend some time in the neighborhood over the weekend ... Take the fam and go to lunch or dinner, check out the parks, etc, and get a real sense of the community.

This area is one of the best left in Lynn. I just bought my home on Linwood which is very near Pine Road. There are great schools and a lot of parks. Also, a lot of state police, local police, firemen and city officials live in the Pine Hill area. Not all of Lynn is bad.

Lynn is a tough area. Go into the Census Bureau to see income and population profiles to give you an idea.

We really aren't allowed to say. You can check crime rates and states by going to different sites via google.
