How do you buy a house listed in trulia by realty trac as "foreclosure- auction" without all cash?

The house has been listed this way for months, always changing auction dates. We'd like to make an offer but don't have all cash to buy it on the courthouse steps.

Hi Kaylow,

You can try to contact the owner direct and try to work something out with the owner.

If the house is still owned by the person in default and they are willing to cooperate, you may be able to purchase the home as a short sale. That would allow you to get a conventional type loan. If you need help with the process let me know.
