My first suggestion would be to check your local County Sherrifs office for auctions. Then you could research through the internet for HUD Homes http://www.hmbireo.com/ or another source is "OCWEN" http://www.ocwen.com/reo/home.cfm and then through Trulia or Zillow.
When dealing with any Foreclosure I suggest you find a good Buyers agent, specifically one that is familiar with Bank Foreclosures, and especially if dealing with HUD, they have a strict procedure to be followed. - A few minutes ago - Fri Jan 9 2009, 04:11
We recommend contacting an area real estate professional. Today's buyers are looking for opportunities that present value. Agents monitor the market, have information about potential homes going into foreclosure, and can best advise you of the best way to obtain your chosen property as well as walk you through the process, step-by- step.
Our advice is to not waste your time, put an agent to work for you.
Good luck
