How do I find the right Realtor for our situation?

Melissam
Home Buyer
Valdosta, GA

we planning on buying a house in January of 2009, we are going in to get our financing in December although we already know the budget we want to be on, I dont want to buy until January but I want to start working with someone so they can get to know us and what we want and need and so we can build a trusting relationship and be comfortable with the person who we will be working with.( Im not sure if that makes sense at all or not) We are considering the Lakeland-Valdosta area but we are also considering moving between Monticello,fl-and Tallahassee, Fl. Will we be able to use one Realtor even tho we are considering 2 states?

Melissam,

This is a great way to find a Realtor. Build the relationship now and make sure everyone is on the same page. I'm not familiar with those areas of FL but if they are close in proximity you'll want to look for an agent that is licensed in both. If not, usually a good Realtor will refer you to another like-minded individual in another city. It's about helping you get the best deal and situation for you family. When a Realtor puts your needs first, everyone wins. So look for someone who does that and HANG ON!

Hi, Melissam! :)

I know you must be really excited about making the move! Valdosta is certainly a great place to live and we would love for you and your family to be an addition to our community!

It is definitely ok to go ahead and begin working with a Realtor. I think it would be pretty difficult for you to find someone who would be able to help you in both markets. The Realtor would have to have an active license in both Georgia and Florida and be familiar enough with both areas to help you find what you're looking for. However, if you would like for my team and I to work with you, we would be more than happy to point you in the direction of an agent who could help in those areas in Florida.

As I mentioned, I am a member of a 4 man team of licensed Realtors. We all work together to help find the perfect home for you and help you with each step in the buying process. I would be happy to help in whatever way I can and would love the opportunity to meet and work with your family.

If you have any more questions, or if there is anything at all that I can do to help, please feel free to shoot me an email (morgan@valdostahomefinder.com) or give me a call on my cell phone (229-251-7897) at any time.
