Call the transportation department for the school distrcit wherer the property is located. Many times buyers like to see if bus transportation is available and where the bus stop is. When I bought my first house, I found out the bus stop was right in front of my house, the first day of school in September.

Contact the local school district. It's likely all the information is online. If you don't know the web site, if you're inquiring about Mineola, just Google: "Mineola public schools." That will bring up the site. Go there; most school districts will have online boundary maps. If there aren't any online boundary maps, then just get the information phone number from the site, and give the school district a call. You give them the address, and they'll tell you what school your children will go to.
