Hi Jean,

I work at Imperial Real Estate, 1101 Gulf Blvd at IRB (Foreclosure Specialist) and keep a weekly list of bank-owned property.
I can tell you that right now, there is not one bank-owned listing in IRB. As of Friday, there were only 13 actual foreclosure properties on the beaches from Clearwater to Tierra Verde. The list is compiled from actual MLS listings.
Recently, I had to add foreclosure property in Largo, Seminole and Belleair and the avg number of properties is about 60 per week. (including the beaches) The other properties are PRE-foreclosure aka Short Sales. Don't be fooled by those claiming "hundreds" of beach foreclosures- hasn't happened yet, but it's probably coming as banks are able to work through the backlog of short sales and get those progressed through the proper legal channels for foreclosure.
If you'd like a list, please stop by our office anytime as they are on my desk.
They are also updated each week (Friday) on my website.
Please let me know if I can be of assistance with bank-owned property.

Best wishes!

Jean,
Banks often send their list of properties to real estate agents in the area. I have the most recent list from the Bank of America office in Belleiar. If you would like access to this list give me a call or drop me an email. There are a large number of aggregate web sites with this type of information that has proven to be grossly out of date.

Thinking of selling your Tampa bay home? You will need a List Price Analysis (LPA) that triple validates the list price and anticipated selling price. Call today.
