Good question Linda. I work in the Washington, Holmes, and Jackson County areas. I believe that you will find great value for the dollar in these areas, and still be within a reasonable commute to cities such as Panama City, Chipley, Marianna, or Dothan Alabama. Feel free to check my website for information about this area and the ability to search not only our MLS, but other counties in Florida as well. Feel free to contact me if I can be of further assistance.

Hi Linda,

If price and quality of life are your main factors, I would suggest that you consider Palm Coast in NE Florida, online search at:

Hi Linda--Many people go to Alabama because its taxes are less. If you want inexpensive in north Florida, you might be looking at the northern sections of any of the panhandle counties. They are less largely due to not being so close to beach area. If you want closer to beach, but still reasonable prices, the areas around Navarre and Gulf Breeze might be good places to look. Remember that quality of life is important too, so choose not only for price but what things you want to do without going long distances, especially if the gas prices go back up. I hope this helps--if I can be of further assistance, don't hesitate to contact me.
