Unfortunately you can't on sites such as Zilow or Trulia. What you can do is work directly with a local Realtor who can do this working within the MLS system which they pay to have access to.

You most certainly can set up a search by school boundary on zillow, and you can see the school boundary on trulia but I haven't figured out how to make that part of the search YET! ;) Shame on all you trolls for trying to use a question to solicit clients.

http://www.schooldigger.com is the best site I have seen to have school boundaries.

Once you have the right boundaries, a realtor can set up an mls search with those boundaries. I would also check with the school to ensure you have the most up to date boundaries.

Hi! Connect with an agent that will take the time to set you up on separate searches specific to the school boundaries per the CPS website. For example, tonight I set new clients up on 10 separate searches, as they will consider a home in any of these school districts: Beaubien Elementary, Budlong Elementary, Edgebrook Elementary, Forest Glen, Jamieson Elementary, Onahan Elementary, Peterson Elementary, Solomon Elementary, Waters Elementary and Wildwood Elementary. The folders are clearly labeled in their MLS record, so it's easy for them to determine what school district a new listing coordinates with. Hope this helps!

Your Real Estate Agent can set up a map search with a specific school boundary. Otherwise go http://www.cps.edu/schools/find_a_school/pages/schoollocator.aspx

I use http://www.greatschools.org/ for all my clients looking by address or a boundary area.

Best bet is work with a buyers broker, he/she can set up the search to match the school district exclusive to your needs.

Good luck!

You can map search it by the boundaries of the school.

It would be helpful for you to get a good Realtor too. Its free to use their services.

You can hire a Realtor, thats your best bet. Or contact the city of chicago school board and get yourself a boundary map or find one online. Then do the searches all by yourself. good luck!

That is a tough one for you to do on your own if the area is Chicago. Evan an agent will have a bit of difficulty since so many school districts are anything but square. They tend to zig and zap all over the place, but we have a map feature that lets us draw out the boundaries so find an agent to help

A Realtor would be your best bet for helping with this type of search.

Hello,

A Realtor can set you up on a specific search that will alert you on any available homes within your requirements. I suggest you hire an agent to help you. Their services are free of charge and they only get paid once you close. Good luck!

I think the best advice on this board is to contact a realtor. They'll know best and a can answer your questions better than search fields.

Hello - Happy New Year!

the best way to do searches by school districts is to have a good realtor run them for you and assist you in finding the perfect home!

When you are ready to purchase, I would be happy to get you pre-qualified so you can put an offer on the home you want.

MLS does not show boundaries and it's always imperfect with assigning schools in our searches!!!!!!!

THE BEST thing out there is school search by GreatSchools.org

Just follow the link: http://www.greatschools.org/school-district-boundaries-map

Greg, that is why you use the polygon map search feature on the MLS. It's quite easy

As Bob said, your Realtor has the best source -- your local MLS. You can search on any number of factors, including schools.

The easiest way for you would be to ask your Realtor to do it for you, using a combination of tools built into the Realtor MLS and the school district map.
