One way is to check the St Tammany Parish Sheriff's website http://app.watchsystems.com/stpsocivil/realestateSL.html . Properties are posted by the date of the sheriff sale. You can also obtain information such as how much is owed and to whom. Not all properties on the list will go through - a sale can be stopped if the property is sold on the open market, the debt resolved, or the mortgage modified.
The clerk of courts office also has online land records which you can search by address. http://www.sttammanyclerk.org/main/index.asp This will give you information such as who owns a property, what type of liens are in place, and whether or not it has been seized.
If you need help navigating either website, please feel free to contact me at kracine@kw.com

If foreclosure has completed, the house will be listed on our local MLS as such and a local agent can track it down for you.
