Are you talking about finding out what the condo fees cover? If so, that can be found in the condo docs that you'll get after you've ratified a contract. You can be proactive by contacting the condo management association and ask for a copy of the condo docs ahead of time/before submitting an offer. Don't take what someone who lives in the condo development or the MLS as the true answer - people make mistakes.
If you have a Buyer's Agent, have them do the digging around for you - they should already have contacts at all the local home/condo association management companies.
This is normally part of the details that is disclosed on the MLS information.
We usually identify a contact person for our buyers that is an HOA elected board member or association officer. These individuals can often provide valuable insight about the community and clarify most buyers questions.
Your agent should be able to provide you with the basic information about fees and what they cover. Our recommendation is to not stop there but to gather as much information about the community as possible before making a comittment.
