How are property taxes levied in the area (G.R. and metro-east side)? Is there a link I can tap into to research...?

I kept running into the same problem until I went to the michigan.gov website. I typed in "millage" in the search engine. It gave a property tax estimator that you can use. You enter in the information and it computes it for you.

Richard,
Taxes are levied by the taxing authority (city, township, ....) where the property is located. For the G.R. area information can be located at http://www.accesskent.com. Most of the governing bodies (city, township, county,...) have websites where you can access the public records.

Hello Richard,

Here are direct links to the pages on my website that discusses property taxes. They lack much information about the east side of the state however (although the calculations are the same):

Thanks,

Rob
