factory delivered and put together on the foundation site. We've had a full inspection, no problems with a regular fixed rate mortgage. I do have some concerns about the basement foundation floor (only) having cracks in it but the home inspector said not to worry about it. The house is a raised ranch in West Wildwood.

Hi DMS;
In general, what your Realtor has told you is true. Prefabricated homes are put together and painted under ideal factory conditions. But in the end it all depends on the quality of the manufacturer of your home, and hoew well you have kept up with the maintenance of your home.
If your home inspector gives you a thumbs up on your house, if you present it well, staging, painting, cleaning, and it is priced right, it does not matter whether it is a prefabricated home or not.
