I would suggest that you seek the advice of a real estate attorney immediately to find out what your remedies are at this point. A re-inspection is probably a good idea regardless of who is paying for it, just for your peace of mind. The seller had an obligation to deliver the property to you in the condition it was when you initially put your offer on it.
