Are there any horse trails/riding paths adjoining or near houses with 10 acre properties for sale? Particularly in very good school districts? Am looking for large acreage but must have access to quality riding in Cherokee.

I'd consider jumping the border into Fulton County, the schools rank higher and that tends to drive the bus on value retention and market appeal. You might also consider the West/South Forsyth market as well - probably on par with Cherokee schools.
Price-wise you'll likely find better pricing in Cherokee but again, that's driven by the market and the opinion of the buyers when the entire picture is considered. I say this with 15+- years of appraisal/brokerage experience in these areas, I've appraised several of those larger equestrian estates as well as homes on acreage all over the northern arc; data is data and it shows the East Cherokee area is off more than the others. There are plenty of trails in and around ECherokee/NWFulton/SWForsyth so that's not going to be a problem.
Just food for thought -

Garrison Farms is an equestrian community in Cherokee with 5+ acre lots and 25 acres of riding trails. It is in a great school district with all newer schools - Avery, Creekland and Creekview. I have a listing there at 936 Garrison Trail for $639,900 with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, a barn, paddocks, pasture, woods, creek, and indoor pool. It has 6+ acres, joining riding trails so you feel like you have a lot more land. You can see photos at http://www.beckysrealestate.com/3900899.
Good morning, Lee. I have located several properties in a wide price range that meet your criteria. If you will send me your email address, I will forward you the buyer's reports. Good Luck!
