Hoping to buy, but credit is in the mid to low 500's.
I am disabled and my husband works f/t. Combined we bring in @ $45,000 annually. Due to my accident 7 years ago, my credit was hit hard while I was in a coma and during recovery. Since then I have had setbacks in gaining control of my credit again. In trying to help our scores and in tackling our debt more easily, we signed up with Care One Credit but feel it may have hurt us more than helped. We recently checked our credit profiles and saw that they payed some creditors late more than once. We are both close to 30 and have 2 children. We want to stop renting and take advantage of the low market now, but worry we can't. Are there any options for us? We have great rental history for over 6 years at different places and my husband has been stable at his job for almost 2 1/2 years. No co-signers
