Many Sellers today would consider Rent w/Option to Buy
As a Buyer, YOU need to be careful as to what kind of Rent w/Option you are getting into.
Unless a Purchase Contract is made at the same time so the:
Purchase Price
Date of Sale
Amount of Rent to be applied to House
and numerous other conditions are spelled out in a contract
You could very well end up in a situation where you wasted time and money.
You should work with an Accredited Buyer's Agent to insure your interests in the deal are properly represented and you will need a Real Estate Attorney as well.
