many negative reviews of them online, but some positives as well. Obviously I am not an expert in the real estate business and was wondering what kind of reputation this builder has in this county and Ocala. The price is attractive for the amount of house (space) they are offering, but also there are HOA fees (no community pool, tennis courts, non-gated, etc.). Thank you for your time. I truly appreciate your help.
Dear Bruce
I have inspected several Maronda Homes here in Ocala and other areas of Central Florida. All of the buyers were worried also about the information found on the internet. In all of the homes I inspected I had found minor issues that needed addressed. Either it be an new home or one 100 yrs old each home is different and a professional home inspection will tell the information you need to know.
If we can help you in anyway Bruce please feel free to call us directly. 352-361-8065 We are here to answer your questions 7 days a week anytime.
Hi Bruce;
I think you'll find there are good reviews and bad reviews for pretty much everything. I would recommend that you have a professional home inspestion performed on any house that you put an offer on that was accepted. There is a 10 day inspection period within the sales contract for you to cancel the sale if their are issues with the home found during the inspection. Maronda homes are known for offering a larger house for less money. One of the reasons for the lower price is they offer no upgrades, such as granit counter tops, etc. As long as the house you want passes the inspection don't let others talk you into or out of a house purchase. You're the one that's going to live there. I love working with first time home buyers as they are usually more excited about the process and it makes my job fun. Please call me to help find the perfect home for you or to just help with the sales transaction.

That's a great question! Maronda Builders have many home communities in Ocala. I have showed Maronda homes throughout the county that were on both ends of the extreme. I think that during the times that new construction was booming that there were many work crews focused on quantity & not quality! Hopefully, contractors & builders are back to focusing on quality! If you are having a new home built, just make sure they are doing their job to code. However, with so many foreclosures on the market, you can get great deals on homes that are less than 2 years old. Let me know if I can help you purchase your first home or answer any other questions for you. Good luck, Summer Robinson, GRI at Coldwell Banker Ellison Realty, Inc. (352) 427-7333
