My website has a ton and ahalf of foreclosures and short sales as well from the MLS. Check it out. I can tell you that there are few bargains out there. Most are in such terrible deplorable shape that you're almost afraid to go in them. The short sales are a little better as usually the owner is still there. You have to have a lot of imagination and a lot of know how to make these work. I've spent days looking at the properties and haven't seen one yet that didn't need to be gutted! Good luck! Cher

HI Jim,
The other answers are correct but I have tried to make it a little more simple for forclosure searches on my website their is a link that allows you to access the foreclosure list from the multiple list service in this area. Go to http://www.AACountyRE.com and on the front page there will be a link for that search. If I can be of any assistance please give me a call.

The Banks and the Gov. have created sites to provide the public with access to their properties for sale listings..(REO/Foreclosures) and information on the Bid/Purchase process.

Sites like.... http://www.wamuproperties.com/ .... http://www.hud.gov/homes/index.cfm

https://www.citimortgage.com/Mortgage/Oreo/SearchListing.do ... http://www.homepath.com/

The links to these Bank and Gov. sites can be found here.... http://www.mortgagenewsdaily.com/wiki/REO_Database_List.asp http://www.biggerpockets.com/bank-reo.html

If it's Tax sales you're interested in then you may find this search engine useful...

Hi Jim,

Most foreclosures (if not all) foreclosures are listed in the MLS which you can search on our web site at http://www.FortMeadeHomes.com. Or e-mail me directly from the web site and I'll prepare a custom list for you! Short sales are good to look into as well if you have some time to wait for a move.
