As of today there are 56 single family homes listed on the local MLS that fall within your price range, 44 of which are 3 or more bedrooms. There are 21 more just below your price range (325K to 379,9K). These are in diverse neighborhoods across town, some within walking distance of the train, others within a short walk of our beaches, parks or lakes.
Most of these are good neighborhoods, but what is important to you about your new neighborhood? Train, parks, water, quiet, commute?

What you need to consider is value.. is the home the right home for your needs and does it have value, and make sense to me.
If you would like we can discuss your needs and wants and look at the current inventory of homes and decide what home makes the best sense for you and is the best value for your needs.
Next to the train station could be considered bad or good. Next to I95, the same. Even close to a school that has a loud marching band could be bad to some. You may like the water, but not in a flood zone...that may be what you consider "bad".
When considering any property "no matter where", visit the house during the day, and at night. Check out what the road is like during peak commute time. See what it is like during a weekend. Is it peaceful or noisy. Go to the town clerk's office, check in with zoning. What is the zoning? Any proposals in the works that will change the zoning of the property?
Then ask yourself, "will I be happy here?"
There are over 40 properties available in the price range you stated (click on link). You can decide which property is "good" for you.

There are homes available in Fairfield in the price range you mentioned. They will not be large homes but nice, modest homes on smaller parcels of property. All of Fairfield is very nice and you are able to enjoy its good schools and park system as well as a good quality of life. If you call me and let me know your housing needs, I will be happy to send you a sampling of what is available. Also, if you are able to go to Trumbull, there will be the opportunity to purchase a home that is larger on a larger parcel of land, and a community that has a lot to offer, like Fairfield. It's a good time to buy.
The answer to your question is yes. There are a good number of homes in that price range. It also depends on what you are looking for. Sq ft of the home, number of rooms, size of the lot, and the area of town. I am a native of Fairfield and would be happy to show you around the town to see what is available for you to purchase. I can attest it is a great place to live and raise a family. If you have any further questions or concerns that I can answer, please don't hesitate to call me or visit my website and contact me through there.
Enjoy the day!
Of course it depends on what kind of a house you are looking for -- how many bedrooms, baths and how many square feet? What part of town? Are you from Fairfield or do you need information on the town? It is a fabulous time to buy but in any market, these are always the considerations. If you are not yet working with an agent, please feel free to visit my website and/or to contact me for more info on Fairfield and surrounding areas -- Thanks, Catherin
