hour door-to-door and commute to Bridgewater within half an hour, that has substantial Asian/Chinese community,
constructed after 1990, has 4 and only 4 bedrooms, at least 2200 sqft but no more than 3000 sqft, sunny, has a yard but no more than 0.5 acre, no swimming pool, cul-de-sac, kitchen has window, and located in good school area.
I've looked at some houses in Bridgewater (Vanderveer Rd section) and a couple of houses in East Brunswick, anybody has any other suggestions?
I can work with any realtor certified by SIRVA which is providing me the relocation package.
Thanks,
Eric,
I am a SIRVA certified agent currently working with a Sirva relocation client. I believe Clinton Twp. Hunterdon County is a viable choice! Many homes are available that fit your criteria, and have Blue Ribbon Schools. Just email me at jeffreyvroom@yahoo.com and I'll send you some information.
Good Luck in your search
Sincerely,
Jeff
Hi Jeanne, It may be helpful if you can post
1. cma grid of all houses at Piscataway at price range $450k to $600k with status A,AR,U and C for past 12 months, and
1a. the associated 8-picture link with your photo, cell and email on top,
Cheng
p.s. I think the owner of 14 Lillian Ter is smart to keep the house because if we bought the house, we are going to rent to Rutgers students as well if not IT professionals working at NYC.
Hi Eric, Mr. Cheng is quite right - 14 Lillian Terrace is a beautiful home that might just have been perfect. However, I'm sorry to report that a lease effective Feb 1 has been signed and so that home will soon be off the market. Piscataway is another good thought and Mr. Cheng provides you good info on the community. I can help you with Piscataway as well, and while Lillian is not available, there are other nice homes that are.
Nice to hear your update Mr. Cheng!
Best,

Dear Eric,
I believe you want to take a look at houses at Gramercy Park at Piscataway http://gramercyparkatpiscataway.blogspot.com/ especially 14 Lillian Ln Piscataway NJ 08854 http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&saddr=edison+station,+nj

I can make that recommendation because I went to the Open House of this house, and this community has many talent Chinese/Asian. e.g. Gabriel got full score on SAT, one of 9 this year at Piscataway High School, and his sister going to U Penn, and his brother going to go to MIT, living here. Quite a few Chinese kids came to Gabriel from Princeton area to be tutored SAT by him.
Piscataway JFK Library got lots of Chinese books like Bridgewater, Metuchen nearby, that's why I am interested in building a new house at Buena Vista Piscataway http://buenavistaatpiscataway.blogspot.com/ which is right next to the library.
Piscataway has 7 NJ Transit Station around as you can see http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=254591
More importantly, Piscataway just chosen to be #23 of Top 100 Best Places to Live in America by CNN Money Magazine http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bplive/2008/snapshot
I highly recommend Gramercy Park at Piscataway for you also becaues it is very convenient to Middlesex Mall and Hardley Shopping Center, and lakes, and Central Park at Piscataway ...etc.
Also, for your price range, you can also consider a brand new house at River Heights Estates http://riverheightsestates.blogspot.com/ that my friend just bought there for $600,000, whose son also got full score in SAT and admitted to U Penn and move from the other side of Piscataway. He also won numerous #1 in NJ FBLA competitions for Piscataway High School as well as NJ Science League competition.
Another one is Carriage Hill at Piscataway http://carriagehillatpiscataway.blogspot.com/ if you have children want to get into top universities because next to this house Bryant also got full score on SAT, and along the area, many students got admitted to UC Berkeley, Princeton, Cornel, NYU...etc.

p.s. Btw, most people I know living in Bridgewater do not work in NYC as it is a much longer commute. East Brusnwick does not have train station to NYC, people has to take bus, and bus may jam at Holand Tunnel. Otherwise, they both has good schools as well.
p.p.s. I am not realtor but just anoher buyer like you, so you may get professional info from licensed realtor...
Hi Eric, I am a certified relocation agent with Weichert. I have worked with clients before that have requested me and their firm and mine have worked out the details.
Bridgewater is the community that came to mind given your parameters - Raritan is just across Vanderveer and may also have possibilities - feeds into the same high school. The Vanderveer area has many advantages - newer homes, proximity to transporation and highways, and also shopping with the Bridgewater Common Mall close by and also Home Depot, Expo and my favorite Wegman's (fantastic grocery store), along with restaurants.
Another possibility may be Green Brook -feeds into Watchung Hills High School along with Warren, Watchung and Long Hill - which are pricier options for the most part. I think we can find options for you in these communities.
East Brunswick has good schools as well and I've sold homes there too.
Eric, if you'd like to explore the possibilities with me, please contact me and provide your email. You can find me online at http://www.feenick.com Click on the testimonial section to read what clients have had to say about their experience working with me.
I'd be honored to help you....
Best,
Jeannie Feenick

My suggestion is to spend some time in each of these communities to gauge which feels most like home.
