Hello, We currently live in Queens, NY. We want to move to NJ for good schools. Need your advice.

Hemak

Manalapan, NJ

We recently saw few houses in Manalapan ( Englishtown). We loved the house. We did a quick research for schools around that area and we see a good ranking. But a lot of people are suggesting to move to WWP. Any advice from you guys will be helpful.

Thanks a zillion,
Hema

Hi Hema,
Manalapan-Englishtown does have a very good school system and is a nice town. As far as WWP, I believe you are referring to West Windsor Plainsboro. If so, they are also known to have a good school system. The areas are a matter of location preference. My advice would be to visit homes in both areas, map your commute to work and decide which town is best for you.

If you need further assistance feel free to contact me at 732-580-5309. I cover both areas.

Thanks,
Heather Daccurso

Hemak,

Kudos to u for focusing on the school systems, but I am with Debbie . . . please define ""WWP."

Having said that will WWP accomodate your daily commute and can Marlboro, Matawan or Holmdel reduce your commute enough to make it lucartive? Is commuting to Queens via Route 9, or 18 make a signifcant difference? Do u currently have children entering the school age range or are they infants?

Answers to the above will best serve you.

Hello Hemak,

We are former New Yorkers as well, living in Besonhurst Brooklyn, before moving almost 20 years ago to East Brunswick and then Marlboro, NJ. Manalapan does have an excellent school system. The Freehold Regional School District is very highly rated, and is the recipient of numerous awards. My son went through the FRHSD and in his graduating senior class almost 100 students went to Ivy League schools to continue their education.

Towns such as Manalapan, Marlboro, and Freehold Township have a lot to offer. With so many years of experience selling real estate in this town, I would be glad to help you. Let me know what criteria you have mind for your home.

Best

maybe I don't have my thinking cap on, but..............where is WWP?

Hema there are a lot of great towns with good school systems for you to consider. Your price range and commuting needs should factor into your decision, too.

I cover Essex County and parts of Morris County (perhaps too far north for you). My company has over 20 offices ranging from Manalapan, up into Morris County.
Please feel free to call me, and i will be happy to help point you in the direction that is right for you.I can easily refer you to other agents within my company so that you can see for yourself what areas work best.

Good luck!!

Hemak -

I grew up in Queens and then Brooklyn... Moved to East Brunswick NJ when my kids were getting to school age. Why? after much research, the schools are in the top ranking in the state, the commute to NYC was an hour, 35 miles from my door to Bensonhurst and the town is beautiful.

Email or call and we can discuss this town and surrounding areas.... Manalapan,. Marlboro and such.. it depends on your needs.
