offer on a home listed for full price, gave proof of 20% down payment and mortgage commitment and went into attorney review. In attorney review the seller said the they received an offer which was significantly higher with no appraisal condition. Thus the seller accepted the other offer not even asking us to match my offer. Question : Is the Kendall Park/Monmouth Junction market showing irrational exuberance ? Is this what you all are seeing out there ?
Dear Mrunal,
My name is Jody Siegel, I work at Orange Key Realty in Monmouth Jct. I have found that when a home is priced well, it goes rather quickly... yes - even in this market! I specialize in South Brunswick Twp and I live here as well. Unlike many parts of the country and contrary to media hype, certain areas have not been as affected by the economic crisis as others. We, as I see by your zip code that you live in town too, have a very good school system and with our close proximity to NY, Phila and the Route 1 corridor we remain a desirable place to live. I am familiar with the inventory in town, I would welcome the opportunity to talk to you if you would like... I can be reached at 732-801-4743. Take care, Mrunal, Jody
You have posted this in Brunswick County NC. I am guessing since you are inquiring about Monmouth Junction you may have wanted NJ? Trulia has a great area where you can see what is going in the market: Here is Kendall Park, NJ - http://www.trulia.com/real_estate/Kendall_Park-New_Jersey/
Good luck to you in your home search. If you ever consider NC give us a call!
