I am not familiar with this builder probably because they don't build in DFW. In your research you will very likely find someone that was not happy with them. It just comes with the territory of being in sales, you can't please everyone.

If they don't have any homes that are occupied in the community you are interested in, ask the salesperson about other communities that are finished that they built. Drive the neighborhood and speak to the homeonwers.

Many builders that went bankrupt at one time come back in business under another name.

Google them, check http://www.ripoffreport.com etc.

The best source for an answer to your question would be current home owners. Go knock doors, introduce yourself and your intent, and ask your questions.

The best thing to do with any builder is have the home inspected during the building process, with and inspector your hire. This will give you an objective second opinion as to the quality of the home your buying. Every home is different, the one that matter is the one your buying.

Dallas Agent is incorrect....doing a google search may very well provide you with the information you need. Consumers are quick to take to the internet with issues....and sites like YELP.com offer positve and negative reviews for a variety of businesses...including Realtors and builders.

I did a quick check on several sites under Be Homes...and also under Bejar Group and Grupo Expocasa....very little information.

Questions to ask builder:

How long have you been in business?
What are the addresses of other communities that you have built? (Go look at them)
How financially sound is the comapny....if public.....can you view their annual report?
Caarefully review warranties
Also check out Hoover.com, a business site, to see if you can find info

Valid question: You most likely wont find any negative information authored about a builder, realtor are examples due to fact could be considered slander. Investigating a builder search these areas: Better Business Bureau, county court house, stop talk with the residence in several of their communities.
