Have anybody had any buying success with a Short Sale in Tucson/Vail Area? How long did it take?

Well, there are lots of short sales, everywhere, and many of them are successful--the length of time it takes is difficult to say--it will be different with every property as each homeowners' lender has different methods of going through the short sale process. Also, there are foreclosures out there that don't take nearly as long, and there are private sellers with short sale/foreclosure pricing, so don't limit yourself.
