Has anyone attended a Notice of Trustee sale on the Alameda Courthouse steps?
I am interested in purchasing a property going for auction on the courthouse steps, but it is impossible to find information for this. Is the opening bid - or your winning bid - the free and clear title, or is merely a partial payment to a larger amount owed? And if it is only a partial payment on a larger amount owed, how can you establish the total debt outstanding upon the property?

Hi Kristin,
Yes, I have an I believe it is a full payment but you need to do your homework to see if there are liens on the property as you will be responsible for them too. Hope this helps. Tue Jul 22 2008, 13:10
