Has anyone attended a Notice of Trustee sale on the Alameda Courthouse steps?

I am interested in purchasing a property going for auction on the courthouse steps, but it is impossible to find information for this. Is the opening bid - or your winning bid - the free and clear title, or is merely a partial payment to a larger amount owed? And if it is only a partial payment on a larger amount owed, how can you establish the total debt outstanding upon the property?

Hi Kristin,
Yes, I have an I believe it is a full payment but you need to do your homework to see if there are liens on the property as you will be responsible for them too. Hope this helps.
