Vonore, TN is a great place to live. Especially if you like the water. Fishing, boating, and all kinds of water sports. Being located on Tellico Lake gives you the option to travel to the Gulf of Mexico via the Tennessee River system. Easy access to Maryville and Knoxville, but with that small town flavor. The crime rate is low compared to larger cities. There are some great log homes in and around the Vonore area for sale right now. The interest rates are low and it is a buyers market! You'll also want to take advantage of all the great things that the Cherokee National Forest has to offer! And don't forget the gorgeous mountian views that are available from all around this area!

Vonore is a beautiful place to live. I grew up just a few miles from there and my family still lives in the area. You'll find a very small town feel with good proximity to the "big city" offerings of Knoxville and the "small town" conveniences of Lenior City.
