You might get lucky in Astoria or Long Island City. Brooklyn may be out of the range. If Manhattan is a must, PERHAPS Washington Heights can work if you pull the trigger soon.

Wes, what you need to ask yourself is how much you can pay monthly? With 400K cash you can purchase 2 or 3 bedrooms coops and maybe a condo in Queens.

Call at 917-497-0729 and I can tell you how.
or email me at henry@henrycunalata.com and I can send you some samples

Good luck!

I can get you in a 1159 square foot 3 bedroom 2 bath home on a boating canal in Big Pine Key Florida for just under $400K.

Julie,
For your information, I have had more people reply to these so called "silly" questions. Some people truly need help.
Good Luck!

Sometimes it's fairly obvious when questions are not real. Especially when the person asking the question just asked "Would like to live in Lower/Central East or West, have $650000 and need 1000s.ft Suggestions?" a few minutes ago. Answering questions like these doesn't say much about us, as agents.

Wes,
With 400K cash you have so many options. A lot depends on your lifestyle, family situation, personal interests, geographically preferences and so many other factors. Are you an investor, a home buyer or a little of both? Before I started our real estate firm, I was a VP for investment at a major investment firm so I bring both sides of the coin to the table. Maybe property is not the best bet for you??
Please call me and lets talk or just email me.

With that much cash and needing that little space, you can go pretty much anywhere. Maybe not Hong Kong, and with the weak dollar, London is probably out, but that's about it.

Charlotte is a beautiful city. The homes are affordable, the weather seasonal and mild. As the nations second largest banking community you should keep it among your considerations. Let me know if I may be of assistance.
All the best!
