Still many people seek to live in Canterbury Woods in Berwyn and that can mean better resale, but not always.
I'm interested - what choice did you make?
Both are excellent locations and of course you have the T/E School district for both.
Another option is to set up a tour at the elementary schools and the two middle schools. Ask your agent for his/her advice and expertise of the two locations. Good Luck.
As Realtors we cannot guide or steer you to or away from one area or another. People who live in both these areas tend to be protective of their neighborhood, they all chose it for a reason and therefore they like it. One is in Easttown Township and the other is in Tredyffrin, both have the same school district, but different middle and elementary schools, if that is important to you, then you need to visit the schools to help you decide on the house. Both locations have easy access to all the major roads and shops so there is little difference between them there. One is closer to Valley Forge Park, if you are likely to use those facilities a lot then maybe that is important to you.
Also think about the things that are not so subjective, are the yards level, what about water and storm water management, heating costs, etc. What about the flows within the homes, will they work for how you live your life?
Good luck with your purchase.
I would ask your Realtor for this advice. That's what we're there for. And negotiation, risk, title, etc.
