Getting the run around?

My husband and I are buying a home in Monroe. We were preapproved, sellers accepted the offer, but we just can't seem to get to the closing. We keep hearing we should be closing this week, then we hear maybe next week. Every time we get close we're told we need something else signed, copied, or inspected. Is this normal or are we just getting the run around? How long does it usually take to close on a normal home purchase (not a foreclosure)?

Where is your Buyer's Agent?
This is normal when you do not have a bulldog in your corner.
This is VERY normal when you do not have representation and someone there to make sure you do not get the runaround.
Get yourself a qualified Buyers Agent, get your attorney to break down the details, and get the closing attorney to get you a copy of the HUD. If you do not have a HUD, you will not have a closing.
