Frisco, Allen, Lovejoy, or McKinney???

Asked by suttaldy, Los Angeles, CA Sun Dec 30, 2012

Need school input! We are moving to Dallas area in a few months. We have 600k to spend on a house. Our decision on where to land will be completely driven by schools. Of primary concern, what will be the most academically challenging middle/high schools? They all look good on paper in Frisco, Allen, Lovejoy and McKinney... but I know there are social/academic dynamics that only locals will know. Who has scoop?

Are your children involved in extracurricular activities as well? If so, what kind? I'm sure that will have an influence on your decision also. I've worked with many many buyers in the Frisco, Allen and McKinney area and you are definitely not the first one to let the decision be based on the school district! Understandable. I have a great website that gives all the breakdowns for school information. Contact me if you need some more help or advice. Have a great weekend :)

Much more needs be considered and other communities which are top rated. Feel honored work with you family. I rather interview family with other alternatives PLUS these locations!

Hi there!

I'm Shannon, and I'm a Realtor in the Keller Williams Frisco Stars office -- and I know I can help you in your search.

I'm a Frisco resident, and I love it here. I even wrote a blog about it:

There are a lot of Exemplary rated schools in this area. I can send you information about all the school districts if you like.

Here's my contact information. I'd love to help you!

Sincerely,

Shannon Rubin

That's a large area. Pick any 1 Realtor and work with them only.

Hi,

You've names four areas that all have excellent school systems, so I don't think you can go wrong in any of them. I suggest you look into secondary factors to help you decide where to look for your new home, such as proximity to work, family, or friends, or perhaps parks or other outdoor activities.

I, or any good Realtor, can help you in your search. Please give me a call if you have further questions.

Thanks,

Jeff Epstein
