For about three weeks now I have been waiting for a signed copy of a contract back from the sellers. The seller's realtor claims it was signed

this past Tuesday but they haven't sent my lawyer a copy. In New York, is there any deadline for them to sign and provide a copy ? Or is it still possible for me to withdraw ?

Three weeks is a long time. There is no "deal" until your attny. receives the fully executed contract back from the seller. You should immediately contact your attny. about withdrawing as Larry suggested (if that is what you want to do). All the Best.

FIRST ANSWER

We do not have a mandatory deadline for contract signing. Regarding backing out; since it is a legal matter, only your attorney can answer that.

Ask your attorney to put their feet to the fire.
