Felon friendly places to live?

Help the community by answering this question:

Anywhere you go, a Felony in your background is
viewed negatively. That said- Going forward what other
credentials have you acquired? What these are ,and respected
references may allow you some Consideration. The passing
of time, restitution, etc. and your willingness to be open
and honest about the circumstances will help Too!
Make your "positives" clear, consider a " letter of explalination" !
for presentation along with any application. The Housing
market is highly competitive., there is no need to entertain
applicants with Felony covictions without compensating credentials.
Best Advise: Promote other credentials you have while
being honest about your record!

I can't think of a single place that would be "friendly" to felons. I can think of some places that would be outright hostile: any homeowners association or condo association. It gets worse if you are convicted of murder, child abuse, or drugs.
