Does the property tax amount that is mentioned on many real estate websites include the school taxes also?

I am looking into buying a house in South NJ and to calculate the monthly payment towards taxes I am not sure if there is any additional amount that I have to pay towards school taxes.

In South Jersey (and especially since you're asked your question as a Cherry Hill Buyer) the school taxes are included in the tax statement you see on the MLS.

Tax information isn't always included in information at the large Brokerage sites. Visit my website and choose "Search for Homes" to create searches that will include all of the information missing on Brokerage websites. You can also use the Mortgage Calculator provided to get a handle on your costs.

Good Luck in your search!!
Keep looking on Trulia . . . I have a Cherry Hill home coming to the market within the next three weeks.

Hello Keerti,

There's not a seperate school tax like there is in other areas. Use this link http://www.YourNJHomeSearch.com to see all the available homes for sale in South Jersey. Go to the upper tab and select new search. The homes are updated daily so you will always be looking at fresh information. You can also go to my site for additional info about South Jersey http://www.SouthNewJerseyHomes.com.

Yes, property taxes include local and county taxes. Don't forget to include your homeowners insurance in your calculations, too.
I have a mortgage calculator on my website that will do the math for you.
Good luck!
