Help the community by answering this question:

Hi, Neesha! If I understand your question: if a house sits across from a community pool, does it have any resale value?

Most buyers I've had does not like it due to noise levels, traffic congestion and lack of privacy. Only a few will consider it, but majority will not like it.

I hope that helps. If I don't understand the question, feel free to contact me so I can assist you further.

If the buyer has children and that home does not have its own pool then its probably a plus. If your potential buyer does not swim or have grandkids that do it may not be worth it. Sometimes its hard to park on the street if you live by the neighborhood pool. I know the streets around the Westover Hills pool is always solid with cars during the summer. It is ultimately going to depend on what the potential buyers want. Overall I think its a value add to be close to the pool.

It really depends... is it nice looking... is it noisy? It may appeal to some people and not to others. It's hard to say really. It's probably nice to be close to the community pool but being too close could have drawbacks.

I would go by your first impressions... how did it appeal or not appeal to you? Go with that first gut feeling as that is probably correct.

Have same question from my clients before and it is usual.
Sold recently a home in Cedar Park just in front of the pool and playground, reason? Kids love it!
Other clients didn't, so to answer your question I would say that is a matter of buyer's choices and preferences, as any decision when buying real estate.
If I can be of any assistance I can be reached @ 512-529-6524 or email me separately.
Good Luck to you!

Neesha, I'm sorry but I don't understand your question. Are you working with a Realtor? If so, ask that question of your realtor. If not, you can email me or call me and I will try to help you.
