Yes you can speak to the company. And as already stated, request your agent get a written rejection of the offer he/she presented. Good luck!

In some companies the listing agent reports to the relo manager for the company who relays information to the relocation company. It's a tedious process and the listing agent in quite removed from the normal conversations that take place between listing agent and owner.
Relo companies have their own rules and regulations regarding the sale of their corporate owned properties which may not be typical of the market representing them.
If I had a buyer who questioned whether her offer was presented, I would ask my agent to prepare a document stating that the offer had been presented and get it signed by the listing agent, relo manager, and relo corp, too.

Yes, you can go to the relocation company. If you know who they are have your agent call and find out what the situation is. At this point it can not hurt to try.

Call the Broker of the agent that submitted the offer -or- there is a form that can be sent by your agent to the listing broker that states the offer that was made, the time and date submitted and is to be signed by both parties. This way you know your offer has been submitted.

You are a home buyer. You are not bound by any restrictions that MAY apply to your Realtor. The buyer ALWAYS has a RIGHT to contact a seller too. So you also have a RIGHT to contact the Relo Co. It is not always such a good idea and most of the time I'd discourage it but never tell a buyer they could not even if I thought they should not. . As a Realtor, I can't initiate a conversation with a client of the listing agent. As a buyer - who is to stop you.

That's a tough one. I certainly hope that you are mistaken, and that the agent was misinformed at the time or the information actually changed rather than telling you false information. Depending on what the listing agent told you (your agent), and how and if you know for sure that she/he was not being truthful, and if it is aggregious, and you wish to pursue the matter, you and your agent could discuss the matter with the local Real Estate MLS board. If the MLS agrees that you have a complaint that warrants a hearing, your agent can go before the board to present your case.

Another avenue to address the issue, again if it meets the tests of verifiable lies that are important to you, and you doubt that your offer was presented, you could also call the state Realtor Association or the governmental regulating agency and discuss your complaint there. They would possibly look into the matter if they feel it warrants investigation. They would be able to verify that your whether offer was presented in a timely manner.

Realtors have a proud tradition of ethical standards. I do hope the Realtor involved was aware and acting within those ethical guidelines. Not everyone always does, but there are safeguards in place to correct anyone who does not choose to adhere to our standards. Good luck to you.
