Does experience count?

Asked by Carol Lis, Roselle, IL Sat Jun 16, 2012

It is of utmost importance and can be the difference between buying at the right price or overpaying. An agent must know how to negotiate and how to give you premier service in this market. Experience means finding a home that meets all of your needs with the school district that also meets the needs of your children.

Would you want to be one of the first to have a surgeon operate on you? Yes, experience is very important. An experienced agent has already learned lessons from the school of hard knocks and therefore you will not have to experience those lessons with the agent.

on the other hand, a newbie may work harder and be willing to listen to new ideas and advise. We were all there.

Throughout history, a lot of value has been place on "first-timers"
While those placing the value, were themselves, quite experienced.

Quite ironic, when you stop and think about it:

It is only when we reach later years that we value the experience and maturity,
and seek those that can fulfill our wants and needs.

I'm talking about Real Estate; what did you think I was talking about?

Respectfully suggest that you should blog this.
And experience is also obtained from bad judgements.
