wondering if the neighborhood is stable or on the decline. Also, what are some of the more desirable blocks within the neighborhood -- house prices seem to vary greatly based on location.

I currently live in Wisconsin, but grew up in Flossmoor, attended Infant Jesus of Prague grammar school, and Mt.Carmel H.S.. Flossmoor is a beautiful town with great schools and a truly diverse population. If more communities were like Homewood Flossmoor, our country would be in better shape.

The east part of Flossmoor is the most desireable. The box from Governor's Highway on the west, to Dixie Highway on the east, 183rd on the North and Volmer to the south.

The housing and people in that "section" are clearly on another level than the other parts of Flossmoor.

That being said, there really are no "bad" areas of Flossmoor.
