That 's a great question but unfortunately there is no definite answer. That is totally a PERSONAL preference. I live in Kennesaw and I LOVE it ! I am within walking distance of Downtown Kennesaw, and the new Swift-Cantrell Park (which is an awesome park!). But Woodstock is nice also, and is closer to Fulton County & Alpharetta area, sometimes that is a factor that comes into play when people are deciding. Just depends on where you will be working and such. They are both great places to live and both very convenient to nearby interstates. My recommendation would be to take some time to investigate each thoroughly by physically driving around and touring and also doing some online investigation also. If you need any assistance feel free to call or drop me an email. My website will have all my contact info on it. ~Lorrie

Tired of a "wishy-washy" answer.
WOODSTOCK. Hands down. ... KENNESAW. Hands down! .... (ok so I fibbed a bit). You have decide which is better for YOUR LIFE! For us to even begin to answer this question for you, we'd need to know: Where are you going to work? Commute? Do you have Children? (Schools) Shopping Importance? Price range and style of home? Do you have family in the area? ... Without knowing what you are really looking for it's impossible to make a suggestion. Real Estate is LOCAL and about LOCATION for a reason. Each area offers different amenities, housing and most importantly atmosphere. If I really was forced to pick, PERSONALLY, I'd probably pick Woodstock, because it's closer to the places I want to be closer to. Fri Apr 25 2008, 02:18 Web Reference: http://Atlanta.YourKWAgent.com

Linda,
I honestly think that both Kennesaw and Woodstock have great things to offer but only you will be able to tell which one is better. The best way to do this is to research and visit each area and see what pulls your interest the most. It may be the surroundings of one you like better. Kennesaw is no means country, Can't tell you the last time I saw a cow in Kennesaw.... Get an agent that can take you around and show you different communities and areas of interest. Also, where are you going to be working? Do you have kids? What kinds of things do you like to do? etc. You need to ask yourself these type of questions. Maybe this will help you narrow down your decision. If you like both then maybe it will come down to where you find your dream home and that will make the decision for you. I think you would be happy in either place, but again that is my opinion. If you need any help let me know. I would love to anwer any other questions you may have. Hi Linda,
I have to agree with Lorie! Kennesaw is by no mean out in the country. In fact Kennsaw is a fast growing area, just like Woodstock. Again as Lori had mentioned, both areas have great schools and low taxes and the homes have subsequently mantained their value. I live in Woodstock, so I tend to lean toward wanting to say that Woodstock is better for me and my family. It's close to Lake Allatoona, if you like to go boating, close to the north GA mountains and also close enough to be in between Alpharetta and Marietta, if anyone in your family works on either side of town. My wife and I would be happy to assist you and your family any way we can, as we know Kennesaw and Woodstock very well. Not sure that I would call Kennesaw being out in the country these days. Linda, there are great communities in both areas and great schools within these areas also. There are also not such great schools in each area. And Kennesaw does give you access to 575 and 75 not to mention 41. Because the "better place to live" is in the eye of the beholder I would recommend that you choose an agent if you do not already have an agent that sits down with you to determine your goals and what is important to you so that your agent can show you the communities that meet your needs and desires. There are also great deals in both areas.

It all depends on what you like. Woodstock is a little closer to the Ga. 400 and I-575 corridor. Kennesaw is more out in the country.
