It was for sale in the begining of January but now is not on the MLS, but still shows for sale on some other sites. Thanks!
Hi Sal:
It means it has an accepted offer on the property. Something could happen that the buyer who has the accepted offer may not be able to go through with the purchase, so if you are interested in the property, let me know I can find out more. We can see the property and put a back up offer on the property so that if the other buyer can not complete his purchase you would be in first position to purchase the home next. Let me know if you would like to do that.

What does pending mean? Does that mean its in escrow, or what? Is the basic answer is that it is not for sale anymore?
Hi Sal:
It is Bank Owned and the forclosre happened 4/16/2008. Many times the other web sites do not catch up in time. It shows pending in our MLS at this time, it went pending on 1/14/09. Let me know if there is anything else that you need.

Sal,
It may have simply expired in the local MLS. Usually there is a delay in many of the other websites homes are listed on. It may be in your best interest to contact a local Realtor to have them represent you in buying your new home. You could always directly contact the listing agent but remeber that they represent the seller so why not have your own representation!
