What are the aver. Property taxes for a 400-500k apt in fort Greene area? Are there lower property areas close? Thanks!

Hello. You should always verify taxes on a property by contacting the local assessors office. You can contact your local county clerks office which can give you an average range of property taxes for your area, or you could contact a local Realtor for a complimentary report.

Most Condos in Fort Greene will still have RE Tax abatements, so are minimal. With Co-Op apartments the RE Estate Taxes are included in the monthly maintenance.

Property taxes do vary based on exact location, size, amenities, etc., therefore either contact the local tax assessor's office, or consider working with an agent of your own who can provide any necessary information...
