In a lot of cases, you may be able to BUY for close to the same amount as you would be paying to rent a house (and possibly an apartment) of that size by going even 10 to 20 minutes West of Devens. Rentals in the area are few and far-between, however they have been getting a little more available as of late. However, given the uncertainty of the market - if you are only looking to be here for a year or two - then renting may be the better choice.
