Well Lowell Sun reported on 04/01/2008, that the Tyngsboro schools are already $1.2 mill in the hole and there was a proposed override. If that does not get approved than they will begin charging students grade 7-12 with $200 transportation fees, athletic fees and lay off 22 staff members. The override needs to be approved on Monday, however judging by selectman’s comments it looks slim.
